I would loved to have it working but unfortunately after trying for four days I couldn’t get it to levitate. Also the instructions said “do not use the electrical connection it comes with” Is this a Chinese error? Sadly I would like to return it but there is no information on how to.

I love the fact that it rotates. I have a levitating word globe that does not and it would be so much better if it did. I also like the three light settings.

You had better have a friend who can balance eggs on end as this was very difficult to get the moon to float. After that, the lighting is really nice.

Got to be honest, I was a bit frustrated at the beginning as I couldn’t figure out how to set it up. in a few minutes I figured you have to find the exact spot above the levitating board to get it to actually float.And wow is it amazing. I did not actually believe it would float! I know that’s funny as I bought it, but I was in disbelief(still am lol).Check out the video above. I surprised my youngest child with it, and he was perplexed.It’s truly incredible to have some thing as heavy as this, actually float in mid air. Without any strings or smoke and mirrors.Breathtaking and spectacular.Would make an incredible gift.

I stumbled across this when looking for a cheaper alternative to a Mova globe for my daughter. I was unsure whether it might be a false economy and some of the reviews made me wary. However, it’s been a big success. Yes, it takes a bit of patience to learn how to get the moon to “balance” in the magnetic field but once you’ve done it once or twice you get the hang of it. You have to do it by feel rather than sight. There’s a distinct “notch” in the magnetic field where the base of the ball needs to rest, and if you hold the moon gently and let your sense of touch guide you to it you’ll be fine. I’ve had no problems with the supplied UK power adapter and being able to change the colour of the lamp (albeit through three very similar shades of off-white) is a nice touch. All in all, a risk I’m glad I took.

I love my moon lamp, I ordered it as a gift for my wife's kids for a Christmas present but wanted to see it in action before I gave it to them, loved it so much I replaced my lamp on the nightstand with it. Its very calming, surprisingly realistic and an all around fantastic product, everyone that I've shown it to is obsessed with it and wants to try to levitate it themselves. I will be ordering another very soon!!!

There's a super strong magnet that for me just clunked the globe back onto the base. Very frustrating, but my daughter managed (twice!) to get it to the "sweet spot." Now that it is floating, it's adorable, perfect for my granddaughter's room since she likes purple. I do think the "galaxy" dark spot, though, could be a little smaller (or absent!).

Amazing concept for night light! Only issue we had was getting the flotation of the ball/moon. Took a few tries because the magnetic force from the base was so strong it often pulled the moon straight to the base. If this happens to you keep trying to align the moon and it will eventually work- took us quite a number of tries

Unlike some other reviews, the levitating process is quite easy, took me about 10 seconds. just remember to follow the instruction, your pinky fingers has to be work like a stand and while you hands are holding the moon ball vertically to the stand, just move your pinky finger slightly at a time, you will find the sweet spot like a snap!
